You will be the Quality Engineer for the Quality Engineering Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring product and process quality across design, production, and supplier domains.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for applying quality principles, conducting technical evaluations, and leading investigations to uphold the highest standards.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Apply quality principles to design, incoming material, production control, and product evaluation.

  • Conduct technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, and drawings.

  • Lead product failure investigations and material review board decisions.

  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to meet reliability standards.

  • Drive supplier performance improvement and maintain certification programs.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.

Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ("ATF") background check to obtain approval to be an "employee possessor" (of explosives or other ATF regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivelant combined education/experience

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and have ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • 1‑3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications; familiarity with basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)

  • Experience creating or maintaining work instructions, SOPs, or quality documentation

Desired Skills

  • Working knowledge of AS9100

  • Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAIs)

  • Exposure to quality management software (e.g., QMS, ERP) is beneficial

  • Certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green Belt

  • Hands‑on experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools

  • Experience using SAP & Apriso

  • Knowledge of aerospace or defense manufacturing standards (e.g., AS9100, MIL‑STD‑810)

  • Experience using digital inspection equipment

  • Familiarity with corrective‑action systems

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
