The FP&A Senior Manager will serve as the trusted Finance business partner supporting Schwab’s Retail International business. The International Services organization offers clients outside of the United States the ability to invest in U.S. markets; providing trading, service, and solutions to help clients invest in the U.S. from abroad.

Our Retail Finance team’s objectives are to help business partners drive operational leverage and maximize profitability through rigorous analysis to support strategic decision making and planning, understand business trends, and communicate performance. This individual contributor role will play a significant role in providing financial planning and analytical insights to influence outcomes and ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals. The successful candidate will partner closely with Retail International executives to ensure strong financial governance and influence across a complex and evolving business landscape.

What you have

  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, demonstrating progression into increasingly complex roles

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field

  • Exhibit strong executive presence, communication skills, and ability to tell a compelling story with data

  • Translate complex financial concepts into clear business recommendations for executive audiences

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a proven ability to identify and resolve issues

  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling

  • Proactive self-starter and team player who can work independently in a challenging and fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

  • Demonstrate sound business judgement, strategic thinking, embraces change, and leads through ambiguity with resilience and accountability

  • Experience with ERP software or similar tools such as IBM Planning Analytic, Power BI, etc. SQL a plus.

  • MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred

What you'll do:

  • Lead financial planning and analysis for the Retail International organization. Manage month-end close, conduct P&L variance analysis, identify risks & opportunities, prepare quarterly financial forecasts, annual plans and long-range planning, ensure timely and accurate reporting as well as tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Develop executive presentations and present monthly financial results

  • Coordinate across the organization to ensure clear lines of communication

  • Partner closely with International senior leaders to understand business drivers, evaluate growth strategies, and identify business performance and trends to recommend actionable insights with measurable outcomes

  • Structure and lead ad hoc analytical projects to support strategic initiatives

  • Evaluate opportunities and build financial models for business cases to assess financial returns of growth initiatives, including scale & efficiency

  • Fosters growth and development of peers on the team; being vested in the success of the Enterprise Finance organization

  • Support people leaders within the broader Enterprise Finance team to drive team engagement

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.

CO Salary Range: USD $91,800.00 - $195,000.00 / Year
