Position Summary

As a Senior Robotics Engineering Expert, you will provide advanced technical leadership and guide the strategy, validation, standardization, and deployment of robotics, autonomous mobile robots, automated guided vehicles, and intelligent material-handling technologies across our United States factory network. You will turn emerging robotics capabilities into safe, reliable, repeatable, and financially sound solutions that improve employee safety, productivity, operational flexibility, quality, and overall factory performance. You will also serve as the technical authority for evaluating robotics use cases, assessing vendors and system integrators, leading pilot deployments, developing business cases, and expanding successful solutions across our United States manufacturing facilities.

  • Develop and maintain a three- to five-year robotics roadmap for United States manufacturing operations by prioritizing opportunities, establishing deployment criteria and standard system designs, and expanding successful pilot programs across sites

  • Lead the end-to-end development of automated robotics solutions such as humanoids, drones, or other emerging technologies. Evaluate manual work processes and identify practical automation opportunities through solution design, readiness assessment, proof-of-concept testing, pilot deployment, and implementation.

  • Establish scalable standards for autonomous mobile robots, automated guided vehicles, intelligent forklifts, and fleet-management systems that move materials and products between warehouse and production operations

  • Identify, benchmark, evaluate, and manage robotics suppliers and partners; assess their technical capabilities and readiness to inform sourcing and partnership decisions.

  • Evaluate technical feasibility and quantify potential improvements in safety, productivity, quality, cost, and return on investment; track results and recommend whether solutions should be expanded, revised, or discontinued

  • Define requirements for safety, hygienic design, cybersecurity, operational technology and information technology integration, controls, commissioning, maintenance, training, documentation, and lifecycle support to deliver sustainable, factory-ready solutions

  • Lead cross-functional change-management efforts with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Digital Manufacturing, and external suppliers by influencing stakeholders, addressing concerns, gaining buy-in, and creating shared ownership and value that support adoption and strengthen robotics capabilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
