Full job description

Why Socure? Socure is building the identity trust infrastructure for the digital economy — verifying 100% of good identities in real time and stopping fraud before it starts. The mission is big, the problems are complex, and the impact is felt by businesses, governments, and millions of people every day. We hire people who want that level of responsibility. People who move fast, think critically, act like owners, and care deeply about solving customer problems with precision. If you want predictability or narrow scope, this won’t be your place. If you want to help build the future of identity with a team that holds a high bar for itself — keep reading.

Job Responsibilities

  • Set the creative standard for Socure. Define what excellent work looks like, hold every team, vendor and campaign to it, and give direct, specific feedback that visibly improves the work and raises the bar for creative outputs.

  • Define and lead the global creative strategy, setting a multi-year vision and roadmap for Socure's brand and creative function to align with business goals.

  • Build and lead the in-house creative organization. Recruit, hire, develop and retain designers, art directors, motion designers, content creators and creative managers, and define the team structure as the function scales.

  • Direct breakthrough creative for flagship campaigns, advertising, web, video, events and product launches, with work that is distinctive and recognizably Socure.

  • Serve as the final authority on global creative standards. Build and evolve the brand and design system so teams across regions and channels can produce consistent, high-quality work quickly.

  • Oversee the end-to-end creative lifecycle, from brief to concept to production to delivery. Optimize workflows (for example Agile Design) for high-velocity delivery without lowering quality, and measure output, speed and impact.

  • Partner with executive leadership, Product, Marketing, Sales and Engineering so creative initiatives directly support business strategy, revenue and product goals.

  • Manage vendor partnerships. Decide what to build in-house and what to buy, and keep production scalable and cost-effective.

  • Lead the selection and implementation of creative technology, including DAM systems and AI design tools, and define the organization's approach to generative AI in creative workflows, covering production efficiency, copyright and brand safety.

  • Oversee creative risk management, balancing innovation with brand integrity and commercial goals.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor and advocate for creative excellence.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in design, art direction or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A master's degree is not required.

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in creative leadership roles, with at least 5 years as a Creative Director, Executive Creative Director or Head of Creative leading managers as well as individual contributors.

  • Proven experience at a high-growth technology or SaaS scale-up, ideally B2B, where you raised the creative bar and built an in-house team into a multidisciplinary function.

  • A portfolio and case studies showing brand-defining work and its business impact, such as a rebrand, a market-defining campaign, or a measurable step change in quality and consistency that you drove.

  • Expert-level art direction and taste across brand, digital, motion, video, experiential and advertising, with a track record of building and extending design systems and brand standards globally.

  • Demonstrated success recruiting, developing and retaining creative talent, including coaching creative managers and building career paths.

  • Experience managing large budgets, external agencies and high-value vendor partnerships.

  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate business objectives into creative strategy and to measure creative ROI using performance and audience data.

  • Experience making complex technical products clear, credible and culturally relevant. Experience in trust-driven categories such as security, fintech or infrastructure is a plus.

  • Track record of running scalable creative operations that deliver speed and quality together.

  • A practical point of view on AI-assisted creative workflows, including governance, brand safety and copyright. Advanced proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and modern creative and project management tools.

  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to present and defend creative decisions to the C-suite and influence at all levels.

  • Commitment to continuous learning, professional integrity and high standards of business ethics.
