Bring Better to the Bedside as a Hospitalist Physician Assistant in Grand Blanc, Michigan at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital.

Local Team Collaboration:

  • Become a part of a close-knit team of 16 physicians and 3 advanced practitioners with the support of a clinical performance nurse and practice coordinator at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital.

  • We meet monthly for team meetings and internal staff meetings. These are intended to update the team on hospital or group initiatives, discuss barriers, and highlight providers making a difference.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified/eligible physician assistant.

  • Prior Hospitalist experience encouraged.

  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

  • Full-time admissions position. This is a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation. Shifts are 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Admissions.

  • The physician assistant works independently alongside our physicians.

  • No procedures are required in this role.

  • Utilize the electronic records system (EMR).
