Description

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support a fast-paced manufacturing organization in Minnesota. This is a Long-term Contract position focused on delivering a high-touch candidate experience while helping recruiters manage large hiring volumes and detail-oriented interview activity. The ideal candidate is confident working through shifting priorities, communicates proactively with candidates and business leaders, and can step in quickly with strong coordination skills using Workday and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate recruiting activity for multiple recruiters at once, ensuring candidate pipelines continue moving efficiently from initial outreach through start date.

  • Arrange a high volume of interviews each day, balancing urgent scheduling needs for both hourly hiring and detail-oriented panel interviews.

  • Guide candidates through pre-employment steps such as offer acceptance, pre-employment screening processing, coordination of required candidate testing, and required documentation completion.

  • Use phone, text, email, and collaboration tools to maintain frequent follow-up with candidates and help prevent delays that could impact planned start dates.

  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring leaders to confirm interview logistics, align calendars, and provide timely updates on candidate progress.

  • Maintain accurate records in Workday and related tracking tools so recruiting data, candidate status updates, and scheduling details remain current and reliable.

  • Support hiring activity for both high-volume recruiting and traditional corporate recruitment, adjusting quickly as priorities shift throughout the day.

  • Monitor outstanding candidate actions and resolve issues proactively to keep the hiring process organized, responsive, and compliant.

  • Assist with onboarding-related coordination and follow-up when candidates are approved to begin work while remaining attentive to pending pre-employment items.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition coordination or recruiting support within a fast-moving, high-volume environment.

  • Required experience with Workday, including updating candidate records and supporting recruiting workflows.

  • Strong background in interview scheduling and calendar coordination across multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.

  • Ability to support detail-oriented recruiting teams and interact effectively with leaders at various organizational levels.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a willingness to use calls, texts, email, and Teams to keep candidates engaged.

  • High level of accuracy and organization when managing candidate documentation, compliance-related steps, and status tracking.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.

  • Proven ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and contribute immediately without extensive recruiting training.
