Physical Therapist
Location: Knapp Medical Center - Weslaco, TX
Full-Time | Days | 8 - Hour Shifts | 8:00am - 4:00pm
The Physical Therapist (PT) will help patients regain mobility and function after illness, injury, or surgery through assessments, exercises, and early mobilization. They also assist with pain management, educate patients and families, and support discharge planning to ensure safe transitions after hospitalization.

Knapp Medical Center is an award-winning, not-for-profit hospital in Weslaco, Texas. With 227 beds, the community hospital specializes in emergency care, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, wound care, surgery, cardiology, gastroenterology, critical care, and interventional radiology. Responsibilities

Provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services in order to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary and/or integumentary disorders.

The Physical Therapist I performs responsibilities in accordance with Physical Therapy/Hospital Policy, state and federal regulatory licensing and accrediting requirements.
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience

Bachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy

Current state Physical Therapy license
-
Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
