Job Description

The Marshall Industrial Technologies (MIT) Shop Supervisor leads and directs all machine and fabrication shop operations within our industrial facility. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of all machinery, production equipment, and facility infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of industrial machine shop principles, and a proven track record in managing teams, budgets and complex shop and fabrication programs. Experience in proposal development and estimating a plus. This position is crucial for ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental standards.

General Responsibilities Key Duties include but are not limited to:

Background as industrial maintenance supervisor /manager

Manual Machine processes

Industrial machinery repairs

Fabrication/Welding

Proposal Development

Short Term and long-Term workflow and talent planning.

Customer and supplier interactions

Budget Development and oversight

Committed to Safety and Safe behaviors

Physical ability to access jobs, tolerate site environments, and work extended hours as needed. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work in an area where safety glasses, hard hat and other PPE are required and work with oil and lubricants used for cutting. Able to maintain confidentiality is a must as the employee will be dealing with personnel information and records
