What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with the Logistics department to improve productivity and ensure timely availability of high-value materials ($10M+ scale).

  • Devise methods for improving utilization of materials and oversee daily reconciliations and variance resolution, ensuring production problems or other issues are resolved.

  • Lead root cause analysis of discrepancies and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). CAPA is a structured method for identifying, correcting, and preventing quality issues. CAPA helps teams get to the root cause of problems.

  • Oversee entry, validation, and lifecycle management of fixed assets in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. ERP is a type of software that integrates key business processes, such as finance, manufacturing, and supply chain management, into a cohesive system. ERP helps streamline operations, improve efficiency, and provide better visibility into business performance.

  • Ensure accurate accounting of movement, utilization and depreciation of fixed assets through systems-based controls.

  • Provide proactive reporting and insights to guide procurement planning and capacity decisions.

  • Develop key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards (inventory accuracy, spares utilization) for leadership visibility and develop manufacturing methods and drive best practices in storage design, labeling, and inter-facility transfer processes.

  • Leverage Python, SQL, and automation tools to reduce manual processes and improve visibility.

  • Present analysis and cross-functional reports and other communication to management and internal stakeholders.

Telecommuting allowed for this position. 15-20 % domestic travel fully reimbursed by employer. You

  • Master’s or foreign equivalent to Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.

  • Must have at least 1 year of prior work experience in each of the following:

  • Establishing and managing product compliance requirements and maintaining FDA-compliant FSVP program

  • Developing SOPs across departments and overseeing training and implementation; reducing overhead costs and establishing company benchmarks for process improvement and quality control

  • Identifying and formulating KPIs and clarifying management objectives

  • Validating new operational processes using statistical regression models; partnering cross-functionally to align procurement, production, and demand planning

  • Formulating and mapping department processes using the ARIS enterprise modeling approach to promote operational efficiency and preparing management reports recommending solutions.
