Construction WPO CSA (LSNA-PR)

We’re looking for an experienced and collaborative Construction WPO CSA in Carolina/Guaynabo, PR, who thrives when people are in sync and construction projects are running like they should. • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree

• At least 10 years of construction site experience, in the Life Science market preferably

• 10+ years of experience as a C/S/A field engineer or construction engineer, in the Life Science market preferably

• Demonstrated working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building required.

• Experience in construction progress tracking and construction coordination

• Experience working with clean rooms

• Experience with clean rooms modular panel systems

• Experience working with Architectural finishes

• Experience working with roofing, glass and glazing among other architectural features

• Provide technical support to field superintendents

• Provide support for verifying contractors comply with project HSE plan and work permits

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Basic knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, civil works, architectural systems, clean room knowledge a plus, and general building construction & maintenance

• Experience with managing projects or scope package budgets

• Experience with the management of a project schedule.

• Experience and acknowledgment the importance to develop and implement a HSE culture for project execution and lead the construction to comply with the Site specific HSE plan

• Experience with budget controls

• Monitoring and review construction change management with project controls team

• Knowledge of Quality Control and Quality Assurance testing/reporting

• Knowledge and experience with implementation of LEAN strategies and technologies in project execution, including; Last Planner System (LPS), 5S Construction and off-site manufacturing (OSM) construction.

• Basic knowledge in construction project sequencing and ability to utilize 3D technologies such as BIM360, REVIT, NAVISWORKS, or others.
