Registered Nurse (RN) Per Diem

Description

We are seeking per diem Registered Nurses (RNs) to assist with covering weekends, holidays and time off requests for our full-time and part-time employees.

$42.42 per hour

$4.00 evening differential

$5.00 night differential

$2.50 weekend differential (stacked)

At Maine Veterans’ Homes – Scarborough, you’ll work alongside skilled professionals and paraprofessionals to provide premier care for Maine’s Veterans and their families.

The role of the Registered Nurse (RN) is to supervise the activities of the direct care staff, promoting the highest quality of nursing services. The RN will help ensure fulfillment of plans of care according to MVH quality standards.

Per diem Requirements:

  • Work an average of eight (8) hours per two-week pay period.

  • Work a minimum of sixteen (16) weekend hours, per month.

Requirements

  • Current Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

  • Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.

  • Basic computer skills
