Job Description A Platform Control Software Engineer is a technical professional responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the software that controls the core functionalities of a platform, often focusing on complex systems like autonomous vehicles, robotics, or industrial machinery, by bridging the gap between motion planning algorithms and physical control outputs, ensuring smooth and precise operation while adhering to safety and performance standards; essentially, they write code to govern how a platform interacts with its environment and executes actions based on input data. Platform Control Software Engineer This role will be responsible for owning the platform control software that translates motion planner trajectories to drive-by-wire commands. Qualifications On-site role! Permanent Resident Status or U.S. Citizens only, please!

Required education & experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Control Systems, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Controls Systems Software Engineering.

  • Experience in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and MATLAB/Simulink

  • Experience in control theory and control systems design

  • Experience with ground vehicle steering and braking actuation systems

Preferred experience:

  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning techniques for control systems.

  • Experience with real-world controls experience in automotive or aerospace industries
