Commissions Associate

Description We are looking for a Commissions Associate to join a financial services team in Rock Island, Illinois on a Contract assignment. In this role, you will support commission-related inquiries, investigate account activity, and provide clear updates to internal or external stakeholders while maintaining precise documentation. This opportunity offers a structured weekday schedule, training to help you ramp up successfully, and hybrid flexibility after the initial onsite learning period.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to questions involving account updates, business status details, outstanding balances, and commission matters with professionalism and accuracy.

• Investigate payment activity, account records, and commission concerns to identify issues and provide clear explanations.

• Record conversations, research findings, and follow-up actions thoroughly to ensure complete and accurate case documentation.

• Navigate several platforms at once to review information, complete updates, and resolve inquiries efficiently.

• Follow established workflows and service standards while handling a steady volume of support requests.

• Collaborate with team members and business partners to address exceptions and keep operations running smoothly.

• Assist with reconciliation-related tasks, data review, and commission support activities as needed.

• Support a Monday through Friday schedule with a 7.5-hour workday and adapt to hybrid work arrangements after onsite training. Requirements • Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain account and commission information clearly.

• Ability to stay composed and solution-focused when managing difficult or sensitive conversations.

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills in a process-driven environment.

• Experience working across multiple systems simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.

• Background in call center operations, banking, insurance, financial services, or customer support is preferred.

• Familiarity with commissions, commissions accounting, data entry, or reconciliation work is beneficial.

• Capacity to follow established procedures and document information consistently and accurately.
