Job Description
A client in the Chantilly, VA area is seeking a Deployment & Field Support professional in support of a federal project.
Candidates will be onsite 5x a week in Chantilly, VA. Candidates must have a TS/SCI clearance - candidates will be submitted for additional security screening after a successful interview and must pass a customer BG check.
Candidates will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure. This includes automating the deployment and configuration of operating systems, applications, and platform components associated with Kubernetes. As a DevOps Engineer, you are responsible for the entire stack - DNS, IdM, OCP, OAUTH, DHCP, S3, NFS, Application Stack, and more
Skills and Requirements
-TSSCI Clearance -Understanding of network concepts - operating systems - scripting languages (python, go, bash) -Understanding of containerization platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift -Basic security concepts - encryption, authentication, authorization, and access controls
-Proficiency with multiple operation systems (Linux, Windows, Networking) -Experience deploying, managing, and monitoring Kubernetes and the containerized applications running within -Working knowledge of authentication protocols and methodologies (IdM, OIDC, KeyCloak, Authentik) -Experience containerizing applications via Docker / Podman -Proficient with filesystems (File, Block, Object) -Experience managing and validating disaster recovery processes -Ability to deploy and utilize local Large Language Models (LLMs) -Experience with iptables, ebpf, tcpdump, wireshark
