WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE:

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Develop and implement the supplier quality strategy for the Electrical Connections business.

  • Grow and mentor the Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) team while remaining actively involved in key initiatives.

  • Partner with Sourcing, Engineering, and Operations to align supplier quality goals with business priorities.

Supplier Quality Management

  • Support the resolution of supplier quality issues and corrective actions (SCARs).

  • Guide the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for purchased materials and finished goods.

  • Collaborate with Sourcing teams to establish and improve supplier performance metrics across quality, delivery, and cost.

  • Help develop supplier certification and recognition programs that strengthen supplier partnerships.

Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and risk evaluations to support compliance and performance.

  • Partner with suppliers to share standard processes and advance continuous improvement efforts.

  • Support customer and supplier onsite visits and audits, and communicate supply chain quality performance with partners.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 8+ years in supplier quality, quality engineering, or manufacturing quality roles preferred.

  • 3+ years in a leadership role.

  • Strong communication and negotiating skills, working with a global supply chain.

  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.

  • Proven understanding of systems and processes such as: ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, SPC, Process Capability Studies, FMEA, Control Plans, and GD&T.

  • Excellent problem-solving (such as RCCA, 8D, and 5-Why).

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%.
