- Assess current operations and develop future-state processes, workflows, and improvement strategies.
- Define technology and systems solutions using ERP, EAM, WMS, TMS, analytics, automation, and enterprise visibility tools.
- Establish supply chain KPIs and identify opportunities to improve inventory visibility, material availability, efficiency, cost, and mission readiness.
- Develop CONOPS, process maps, solution architecture, implementation plans, benefits cases, and proposal-ready technical content.
- Partner with business development, operations, IT, pricing, and functional SMEs to develop and refine the overall solution.
Skills and Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience in enterprise supply chain, logistics, logistics technology, or supply chain transformation, with 15+ years preferred.
- Demonstrated experience designing, modernizing, or implementing an end-to-end supply chain or enterprise logistics operating model.
- Strong knowledge across multiple supply chain functions, including:
- Demand planning and forecasting
- Procurement and sourcing
- Inventory optimization
- Warehousing and distribution
- Transportation and fleet
- Property and equipment management
- Material planning and readiness
- Asset disposition
- Experience integrating supply chain processes, data, technology, governance, workforce, and performance measures into an enterprise solution.
- Experience with enterprise platforms such as ERP, EAM, WMS, TMS, supply chain analytics, and/or logistics control-tower solutions.
- Ability to evaluate current-state operations and design practical, scalable future-state operating models.
- Experience developing solution architectures, CONOPS, process flows, implementation roadmaps, benefits cases, and/or proposal-ready technical solutions.
- Strong written communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with business development, operations, technical, pricing, IT/digital, and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to work remotely and travel occasionally as business needs require.
- 15+ years of supply chain or logistics experience.
- Experience supporting NASA, DoD, aerospace, federal government, or another complex, mission-critical organization.
- NASA logistics experience, particularly in Center logistics, property and equipment management, supply operations, transportation, or enterprise logistics transformation.
- Previous proposal, capture, consulting, and/or solution-development experience.
- Experience with IBM Maximo, Intelligent Asset Management (IAM), or similar enterprise asset-management platforms.
- Experience developing supply chain control towers, enterprise inventory visibility, or similar end-to-end visibility solutions.
- Experience integrating geographically distributed facilities, locations, or business units into a common enterprise operating model.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, SCOR, S&OP/IBP, value-stream mapping, root-cause analysis, or other continuous-improvement methodologies.
