Location: Northampton, MA 01060

Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week, with a 30-minute lunch
Job Summary
Saint-Gobain is seeking reliable Production Floaters to support manufacturing operations at its Northampton, Massachusetts facility. In this role, you will cross-train and float across different departments and production lines to keep daily operations running smoothly. Candidates must have manufacturing experience and a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities

Float between multiple workstations and production lines to support manufacturing, assembly, and packaging needs.

Handle, move, stage, and organize raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.

Assist machine operators and team leads with daily operational and material needs.

Perform basic quality inspections on parts and finished products.

Follow all plant safety procedures, company policies, and PPE requirements.

Maintain an organized and clean work area (5S standards).

Perform other production and material-handling duties as assigned.
Requirements

Valid driver’s license required.

Previous manufacturing or industrial experience required.

Ability to work a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM).

Adaptable, dependable, and eager to learn multiple roles across the plant floor.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Ability to work safely and stand/move throughout an 8-hour shift.

Resume required.

Successful completion of the required Light Industrial/Manufacturing screening package.
