About Neuvera Brain Health Institute Neuvera Brain Health Institute is an outpatient clinic in Palo Alto dedicated to advancing brain health through high-quality neurological care and patient-centered treatment. Neuvera values collaboration, operational excellence, and a team-based approach to care. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient evaluation and management of adults with epilepsy and seizure disorders.
  • Diagnose and manage a broad range of epilepsy conditions, including focal and generalized epilepsies and medically refractory epilepsy.
  • Perform detailed neurological evaluations for epilepsy and general neurology patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Review and interpret EEG and other relevant diagnostic studies as appropriate.
  • Manage antiseizure medications and monitor treatment effectiveness, tolerability, and safety.
  • Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, lifestyle considerations, and seizure safety.
  • Identify patients who may benefit from advanced epilepsy evaluation, including surgical or other specialized treatment approaches, and coordinate appropriate referrals.
  • Collaborate with neurologists, primary care physicians, advanced practice providers, neuropsychology, and other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support the development of clinical programs and workflows.
  • Contribute to a culture of professionalism, compassion, teamwork, innovation, and clinical excellence.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an accredited Neurology residency.
  • Fellowship training in Epilepsy/Clinical Neurophysiology or equivalent specialized training in epilepsy.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Neurology; additional epilepsy or clinical neurophysiology board certification preferred.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the State of California.
  • Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered neurological care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, innovative, team-based outpatient environment.
  • Must be able to work on-site.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (Part Time or Full Time)
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly/salary rate based on experience
  • Benefits: Health insurance, PTO, CME support
  • Full time and part time option available.

Annual Salary

  • Expected base salary range: $300,000 – $400,000 annually
  • Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location
