Job Description
We are seeking a Safety Specialist to support Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives within a fast-paced operational environment. This individual will help ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, conduct audits and observations, support incident investigations, and assist with employee safety training. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about maintaining a safe workplace.
Skills and Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related role OR a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Safety, Occupational Safety, or a related field Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910 Professional experience using Microsoft Word and Excel Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills Ability to work independently and collaborate with employees at all levels OSHA Certifications Safety Certifications HAZWOPER experience/certifications Experience in industrial environment Experience Training Employees
