Where you will work: This position offers a hybrid work option up to 50% remote and is open to any Compeer office location in Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The contributions you will make:

This position provides supervision and leadership to the Compeer Home Solutions and Data and Reporting teams. Manages the process of system configuration and enhancements, project prioritization, and coordination of priorities on behalf of Compeer Home's technology suite. Oversees business intelligence and reporting, managing day to day analysis of data and reporting for the benefit of the Compeer Home department. Quality controls and reporting on behalf of the department and leads review functions. Provides leadership to mortgage price desk function.

A typical day:

Hires, develops, motivates, coaches, evaluates, trains and rewards department team members.

Promotes a positive work environment that leverages the talents and abilities of team members in achieving organizational and team goals.

Communicates business expectations and goals to team and is responsible for team's results.

Organizes and conducts regular team meetings and calls to remain up to date on department situations or topics.

Manages team work loads and adjusts as needed in order to remain as efficient as possible.

Manages project prioritization, execution, and training for the Compeer Home origination suite of products.

Develops, implements and maintains efficient processes related to technology updates, system configuration, and team training.

Reviews work completed by the team to ensure that industry standards and regulations are met to assist in reducing the number of exceptions.

Coordinates and leads team to accurately review investor guidelines to ensure loans sold to Freddie Mac and Farmer Mac meets requirements. In addition,reviewing appropriate samplings of loan transactions for compliance with Farm Credit Administration and Federal and State regulations and guidelines.

Leads and assists team with sourcing data for the benefit of market intelligence and sales lead generation.

Reviews reporting to assist team in adherence to compliance of Farm Credit Administration, Consumer lending regulations (B, C, E, G, V, X, Z), Fair Credit Reporting Act, Military Lending Act, Service Member Civil Relief Act, Flood, Right of Recession, Higher Priced Mortgage Loan (HPML), and RESPA Servicing compliance.

The skills and experience we prefer you have:

Bachelor's degree preferred in business administration, management or related field, or Associates' degree and an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.

Prior experience with loan origination systems,appraisal reporting (section/township/parcel), andcredit underwriting and title principles.

Prior experience with loan origination suite of products, including setting roadmaps, strategy and direction.

Advanced-level experience in consumer lending in a financial institution.

Knowledge of federal and state (Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin) laws, regulations and compliance requirements specific to the financial industry.

Leadership skills to select, evaluate, engage, motivate, mentor, train, delegate, reward and lead remote team members.

Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.

Client service experience, problem solving, decision making and organizational skills.

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) programs.

Knowledge of accounting and finance principles (amortization schedules, P&I calculations, etc) andconsumer compliance regulation (TRID, RESPA, Fair Lending, ECOA, etc).

The actual title and base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for variable compensation and other benefits.
