Full job description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Tech to join our team at Riverside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Castleton-on-Hudson, New York. As a Maintenance Tech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, buildings, and grounds. As a Maintenance Tech at Riverside, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including: Making repairs on facility equipment and buildings Performing specialized tasks such as plumbing, painting, electrical, carpentry, and more Maintaining necessary logs and forms and recording required information Completing tasks as assigned by supervisors Building structures for resident use, such as benches and flower boxes Replacing and unclogging hair traps, plumbing fixtures, and electrical outlets Painting interior and exterior walls, and installing wallpaper Installing and checking batteries of smoke alarms Participating in preventive maintenance and recording necessary information
