JOB SUMMARY:
P erforms a variety of duties for the registration and scheduling of patients for medical procedures, tests and associated ancillary services.
EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE:
Required:
-
High School diploma or equivalent
-
1 year of related experience
-
Computer experience to include prior EMR and Microsoft Office.

Typing skills of approximately 45 - 50 words a minute
-
Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work in a high-volume team-oriented environment.

Ability to take direction and work independently.
Preferred:

Bilingual English/Spanish

Knowledge of medical terminology, third party payer billing and managed care requirements.
