Job Description

Job Summary:

As part of the uncooled detector (focal plane array) process team, the successful candidate will have responsibility for processing required number of silicon wafers in a cleanroom environment as per demand. Process could include mainly photolithography, including coat, bake, expose, develop, inspection and metrology as well as some wet cleans. Candidate will focus mainly on processing the required number of wafers per instructions through their modules, passdown to other modules and help run pilot lots for engineering with deviations. Candidate will characterize wafers and devices using Filmetrics, Tencor profilometer, optical microscopes, IVS and CD-SEM. As part of the role, hands-on wafer fabrication and metrology are required. This is the right place for a self-directed, goal-oriented, collaborative production technician with an engineering mindset. The process line is new and you will be pioneering the module performance. Our culture is collaborative, supportive, and fun. The work environment is mostly clean room/lab.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Process wafers according to instructions from MES software travelers fincluding engineering experiment lots

  • Characterize results using quantitative metrology tools like IVS, CD-SEM

  • Document deviations and excursions and support area troubleshooting

  • Collaborate with Engineering and maintenance to ensure maximum output for the area

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience in related technical discipline required

  • 2-5 years of related experience desired which is photolithography related activities in a Cleanroom setting

  • Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English

  • Ability to use inspection equipment like microscopes and semiconductor fabrication equipment like steppers and coater/developer tracks and wet bench chemistry

  • Direct experience with one or more key wafer fabrication processes in photolithography is necessary

Desired Background

  • Wafer processing tools for semiconductor or MEMS fabrication in other areas like Dep and Etch

  • Infrared detector technology

Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen or PERM Resident

Salary Range:

$58,700.00-$78,300.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
