Location: Beatrice, NE

Position Type: Full-Time, 40 hours

Schedule:

  1. Evenings (2-10pm) every other weekend, rotating Oncall responsibilities

  2. Evenings (1:45pm-10:15pm) every other weekend, rotating Oncall responsibilities

  3. Nights (9:45pm-6:15am) every other weekend, rotating Oncall responsibilities

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

In this role, you will lead your shift by example, splitting your time between direct care and operational oversight .

  • Lead & Mentor: Act as the shift leader; train, coach, and onboard new Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to foster a supportive team culture .

  • Empower Individuals: Support adult residents with diverse medical and behavioral support needs, helping them achieve personal goals and integrate into the local community .

  • Oversee Operations: Coordinate daily activity schedules, assist with active treatment planning, manage household/individual finances, and ensure records are accurately documented .

  • Ensure Health & Safety: Assist with meal preparations, follow doctor-ordered diets, administer medications, and step in safely during behavioral challenges

  • First 30 Days: It’s all about connection. You’ll spend your time getting hands-on, learning the routines, and building relationships with the individuals we serve .

  • 60 Days In: You’ll dig into our electronic systems, master best practices, and establish your groove within the home .

  • 90 Days In: You are the shift leader! You will fully own the oversight of your shifts, guiding your team confidently while continuing to learn and grow .

Requirements

What We Are Looking For (Job Requirements)

We need a dependable, flexible "change agent" who can pivot at a moment's notice and communicate beautifully with a diverse team .

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent .

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in the IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) or a related field .

  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and current vehicle insurance .

  • Ability to work irregular hours, stand/walk for extended periods, and safely lift/transfer individuals as required .

Certifications (Can obtain after hire!):

  • CPR and First Aid Certification (Required) .

  • Medication Aide (40-hour) certification (Highly preferred upfront, but we will help you get certified!) .

  • MANDT training .
