Full job description

We're looking for a Founding Community & Marketing Manager to join our team in New York City. You will shape and lead our global community strategy as a key driver of growth and retention. This role sits at the intersection of every team, with ownership of community as a measurable engine for activation, retention, expansion, and brand equity across our insurance partner base. You will design the community strategy, launch marketing programs from 0 to 1, and establish the operating model that ensures the community function contributes directly to revenue and long-term customer value. In these early stages, you won't just design the strategy — you'll personally lead the high-impact initiatives that prove it out. Reporting to the CEO, you will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, client success, claims, and product to ensure community initiatives drive measurable outcomes aligned with company growth targets. What You'll Do

  • Shape and execute ClaimSorted's global community strategy, ensuring online and offline initiatives directly support inbound lead generation, revenue growth, and partner retention.

  • Build brand recognition and trust among our insurance partners (MGAs, insurers, and brokers) through a consistent narrative, credible content, and standout events.

  • Identify, engage, and empower champions and advocates across our partner base.

  • Design and run events end to end — from concept and logistics to delivery — and build them into a repeatable, scalable programme rather than a series of one-offs.

  • Create content that a technical, professional insurance audience genuinely respects: case studies, podcasts, and thought leadership.

  • Design the operating model, tools, and systems needed to scale community programs globally.

  • Build the measurement framework that ties community activity to qualified leads, pipeline, conversion, and retention — and establish a clean handoff to sales.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling programs from 0→1 in Community, Growth, Marketing, or Product roles.

  • A track record of organising B2B events — not just running them — and turning them into repeatable, scalable systems.

  • The ability to get credible fast in a complex, technical industry, and to create content that a professional audience trusts.

  • Strong creative instincts paired with a bias for action — you ship fast, iterate on feedback, and drive results.

  • A data-driven approach: you set KPIs, analyse performance, and optimise programs against revenue outcomes.

  • A history of operating independently and owning ambiguous goals end to end.

  • Experience working closely with sales — shared goals, clean handoffs, attributable pipeline.

  • Comfort in a fast-paced, high-ownership early-stage environment where priorities shift and the work is hands-on. This isn't a 9-to-5 role, and that energises rather than drains you.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Quarterly performance bonus: up to 15% of quarterly salary

  • Equity participation: stock options as an early-stage team member

  • Medical insurance

  • 401(k) with 4% company match

  • 20 days paid time off

  • Company offsites

  • Accelerated promotion track in a high-growth environment
