The right candidate is detail-oriented, discreet, resourceful, and comfortable independently managing property-related tasks and local errands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage household logistics including scheduling appointments, deliveries, supplies, and small repairs.

  • Run local errands in the West Village and around New York City (e.g., purchasing supplies, handling returns, accepting deliveries).

  • Track ongoing maintenance needs, vendor appointments, and any open property-related tasks; ensure timely follow-through.

  • Provide regular updates, notes, and summaries regarding household status, maintenance tracking, and vendor scheduling.

  • Maintain records of home access, keyholders, and scheduling details with complete discretion and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Based in or near New York City and able to handle regular in-person tasks in the West Village.

  • Available for property and household coordination.

  • Comfortable managing a private residence for a couple who works from home most days.

  • Highly organized, reliable, proactive, and consistent with detail-oriented follow-through.

  • Effective written communicator with an ability to summarize updates clearly and concisely.

  • Strong sense of judgment, professionalism, discretion, and respect for privacy.

  • Proficient with standard productivity tools (email, calendars, messaging apps, spreadsheets, task trackers).

Nice to Have

  • Experience as a property manager, building manager, personal/household assistant, family assistant, operations assistant, or similar support role.

  • Familiarity with West Village or downtown Manhattan operations, vendors, and transportation options.

  • Experience facilitating travel, supporting household operations, or coordinating small events.
