Licensed Practical Nurse
About the Project/Clinic
Cross Keys Village is a well established Long Term Care facility operating in New Oxford PA. Staff will be expected to follow instructions from assigned supervisors and perform assigned tasks in a professional manner.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Performs nursing functions within scope of LPN licensure

Strong LPN skills required
-
Works closely with all members of the nursing team and must have the ability to adapt to changing day to day environment/clinical settings

Administering medications and treatments in compliance with federal, state, local, and facility policies
-
Maintaining confidentiality and rights of residents, family, employee, and facility information in compliance with HIPPA policies and applicable regulations
-
Interacting cooperatively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff
-
Remain up to date on best practices and conduct research on resiliency in the long-term care setting, using the results to inform the development and implementation of best practices across the program.

The job duties are flexible and subject to change depending upon operational needs
Required Skills/Abilities:
-
Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized and have excellent verbal and communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work on a team.

Excellent communication and time management skills.

Must be able to successfully complete the AMI Credentialing Process.
-
Proficiency in technology including Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Office.

Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a variety of stakeholders including long term care facilities, community members, and AMI clinicians, program managers
Education & Experience:
-
Minimum 1 year experience in Long Term Care Communities, not all of which is Agency
-
Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience.
-
Experience providing health education and training
-
Active unrestricted Pennsylvania license/certification.
Additional Requirements:

Must be able to work in a safe manner following all safety rules and regulations. Must work as a team member to improve safety culture and quality.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time.
-
Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently.

Written and spoken fluency in English.
-
Active and unrestricted driver’s license.
-
Must be willing to drive with others to site visits.

Must be willing to work at the office location.

Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role.
