Full job description
The Controls Engineer will support the installation, commissioning, and service of advanced electrical control systems. This role involves PLC/HMI programming, troubleshooting, and supporting OEM equipment across global manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments.
Key Responsibilities

Support installation and commissioning of OEM equipment at global manufacturing sites (remote and onsite).

Provide technical service and support for electrical control systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve control-related issues in OEM equipment.

Ensure compliance with customer controls policies and standards by interfacing with various internal departments.

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
-
Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field required (Bachelor’s degree preferred).

3–5 years of relevant experience in controls engineering or IT systems.

Experience working with international teams is a plus.
Technical Skills Required
-
Strong understanding of control system design and implementation for global manufacturing environments.

Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and electronic control systems.

Experience programming Rockwell Automation Logix PLCs
-
Proficiency with Rockwell HMI platforms including PanelView Plus, PanelView Plus CE, and FactoryTalk View ME/SE.

Experience programming Siemens S7 / TIA Portal PLCs

Basic understanding of Ethernet-based industrial networks and architectures.
