Position Summary: This position is responsible for managing all aspects of line maintenance for the AOG team.

Major Job Accountabilities:

Supervise AOG travel mechanics as assigned.

Coordinate personnel schedules to provide adequate manpower coverage to support AOG, special projects, and other company needs for the AOG travel team.

Ensure personnel under their supervision are trained and qualified in accordance with GMM policies and procedures.

Monitor the training, qualifications, and level of proficiency for maintenance personnel on the AOG team.

Upon request for AOG team support, dispatch personnel appropriately and coordinate requirements with the MCC Duty Manager, MCC, and Materials.

Responsible for ensuring timely return of correct and accurate aircraft maintenance log pages to HDQ.

Keep detailed records for all AOG team deployments.

Responsible for coordinating AOG travel and tracking associated costs.

Maintain communication with the Senior Maintenance Manager/Director of Fleet Management to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Enforce safety procedures and practices outlined in company manuals and industry standards.

Coordinate specialized tooling for the AOG team with the Tooling Manager.

Troubleshoot technical discrepancies and execute repairs on company aircraft.

Provide resources and technical support as necessary in cases of major mechanical problems or AOG situations.

Improve efficiency and reliability by identifying recurring problems and recommending changes in procedures.

Proficient in the use of electronic test equipment, voltage or amperage measuring, recording devices, and navigation troubleshooting equipment.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and technical orders.

Work as a member of a team that will interface with contract maintenance personnel.

Provide guidance to mechanics on advanced tasks.

Assist other company departments to ensure on-time departure of company aircraft.

Perform duties and responsibilities at field locations away from home base as assigned.

Fly on company aircraft as assigned to support aircraft operations around the world.

Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must hold a current and valid FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.

Must possess a valid passport and be able to travel for AOG recovery and special projects regularly without restriction.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 7+ years of transport category aircraft maintenance experience (Boeing series aircraft preferred) 777, 767, 747-400, 747-800 Gen Fam with RII authorization.

Minimum of 3 years of supervisory/managerial experience required.

Unrestricted engine run qualifications on 777, 767, and 747 aircraft.

Formal training on advanced systems/avionics on 777, 767, and 747 aircraft.

Bore scope qualified on CFM, Pratt & Whitney, or GE-90 engines.

Must possess a valid US Driver's license.

Skills:

Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.

Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Working knowledge of Microsoft software and in the use of digital manuals.

Strong work ethic and organizational skills.

Must be able to work in variable weather conditions.

Competitive compensation will be offered based on a variety of factors, including a candidate's experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal equity and other factors. In addition, a range of benefits to include medical, dental and vision insurance, employee assistance program, as well as generous paid time off, and 401K contributions are offered as a part of the total compensation package.

Pay Range

$96,500—$130,500 USD
