Hotel Maintenance Technician | Country Inn & Suites – St. Cloud East$19-$21 per Hour | Flexible Schedule | Full-Time or Part-Time

Country Inn & Suites – St. Cloud East is looking for a dependable Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team. Whether your background is in hotels, apartments, commercial buildings, facilities maintenance, or general construction, we'd love to talk with you.

As our Hotel Maintenance Technician, you'll help ensure guests enjoy a clean, safe, and comfortable stay by:

Performing preventative maintenance throughout the hotelTroubleshooting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and mechanical systemsCompleting guest room repairs including drywall, painting, doors, locks, fixtures, flooring, and furnitureResponding promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staffMaintaining boilers, water heaters, refrigeration, and other building equipmentCompleting routine inspections to identify maintenance needs before they become larger issuesMaintaining exterior areas including parking lots, sidewalks, landscaping, and seasonal snow or ice removal as neededPerforming basic carpentry, painting, caulking, and general handyman workKeeping maintenance shops, mechanical rooms, and storage areas organizedMaintaining maintenance logs and preventative maintenance recordsFollowing all hotel safety procedures and OSHA guidelinesAssisting with special projects as needed

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys fixing things and takes pride in quality workmanship.

Preferred qualifications include:

Experience in hotel maintenance, apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, commercial building maintenance, construction, or skilled tradesKnowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and mechanical systemsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent customer service and communication skillsDependable with strong attention to detailComfortable using power tools and hand toolsCPO Certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)

Experience in hospitality is helpful but not required. If you've maintained apartments, office buildings, schools, healthcare facilities, manufacturing plants, or commercial properties, your experience is highly valued.
