Full job description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Rehabilitation Technician I assists in the care and treatment of patients under the supervision of the Physical or Occupational Therapist while promoting a smooth flow of patients through the office and helping to create a calm, supportive atmosphere. The Rehabilitation Technician I must demonstrate competency in all skills related to the performance of patient care within their scope of practice and according to organizational policies, accrediting and licensing bodies.

EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Bilingual: English and Spanish

  • Demonstrated strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work well as a member of a team.

Preferred:

  • Medical Interpreter Certificate

  • Previous experience in the healthcare field.
