CDL Bulk Cement Truck Driver (Class A)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

  • Must pass DOT drug screen and obtain and retain a DOT physical card.

  • Ability to read, write and speak English.

  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.

  • Excellent driving skills

Pay Range: 20.00-28.00 per_hour, General Benefits: none

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.

  • Driving a bulk haul truck to deliver bulk cement to ready mix plants.

  • Loads and unloads cement.

  • Performs pre- and post-trip inspections.

  • Maintains appearance of truck.

  • Monitors air pressure in tires. Performs minor truck maintenance and repairs.

  • Ensures that safety, compliance, environmental and DOT requirements are followed at all times.

  • Keeps accurate DOT logs and load sheets.

  • Other duties as assigned.
