Hiring – Business Development & Community Outreach (Full-Time / Flexible)

Caring Transitions of Schenectady is seeking an outgoing, relationship-focused professional to help grow our local presence among senior communities, real estate professionals, and families in transition.

Caring Transitions provides estate sales, online auctions (CTBids), downsizing, relocation coordination, and transition support for seniors and families. This role helps ensure more people in our community know about the services we offer.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building relationships with senior living communities, realtors, attorneys, and other referral partners

  • Visiting communities and introducing our services

  • Maintaining ongoing professional relationships

  • Helping coordinate logistics related to downsizing, moves, and transitions

  • Representing the company at networking opportunities and community events

  • Conducting outreach via phone, email, and in-person visits

  • Identifying opportunities to promote estate sales and online auctions

  • Providing excellent communication and follow-through

Ideal candidate:

  • Outgoing, professional, and confident communicator

  • Comfortable networking and building long-term relationships

  • Organized and able to manage follow-ups

  • Self-motivated and dependable

  • Comfortable with outreach and introductory conversations

  • Interested in helping seniors and families during life transitions

  • Knowledge of senior communities or local professional networks is helpful but not required

  • Reliable transportation for local visits required

Schedule:

Flexible part-time hours with potential for growth

Compensation (NY required disclosure):

$18 – $23 per hour depending on experience

Performance incentives may be available based on results

Equipment:

Laptop and phone can be provided for business use
