Employment Type: Full timeShift: Day Shift Description: Beechwood Cooperative Senior Living Community Program Manager
Beechwood Coop Senior Living Community is seeking an experienced, service-oriented Program Manager to lead our vibrant 61-unit full-service independent living community. Located on a senior living campus that also includes assisted living and skilled nursing services, Beechwood offers residents an engaging, supportive, and independent lifestyle. The Program Manager serves as the operational and community leader for Beechwood Coop, ensuring exceptional resident satisfaction, high-quality services, and effective day-to-day operations. This role works closely with a resident-led Board of Directors and collaborates with campus leadership and shared service departments to support the needs of the cooperative community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and management of the Beechwood community.
- Foster a resident-centered culture that promotes engagement, independence, and quality of life.
- Supervise and support a small team of staff responsible for resident activities, administrative services, and housekeeping functions.
- Coordinate and collaborate with shared campus departments including dining services, maintenance, sales and marketing, and other operational support teams.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, board members, staff, and community partners.
- Support resident programs, events, and activities that enhance community life.
- Assist with budgeting, operational planning, occupancy goals, and regulatory compliance as applicable.
- Attend and support Board meetings, providing reports, recommendations, and operational updates.
- Serve as a liaison between the Beechwood Board, residents, and campus leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous management or supervisory experience required.
- Experience working with older adults, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, property management, or related service environments preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build relationships and effectively work with resident governing boards, staff, and community stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general business technology.
Reporting Structure This position reports directly to the Executive Director/Vice President as well as being responsible to the Beechwood Coop Board of Directors, which is primarily comprised of resident members.

Pay Range: $30.00 - $39.61 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
