About the Role:

The Facilities Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of all physical assets within the organization’s facilities. This position is responsible for overseeing daily facility operations, coordinating maintenance activities, and managing vendor relationships to uphold high standards of functionality and compliance. The Facilities Supervisor leads a team of maintenance and custodial staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management to ensure tasks are completed effectively and on schedule. This role requires proactive identification and resolution of facility-related issues to minimize downtime and support a safe, productive work environment. Ultimately, the Facilities Supervisor contributes to the organization’s success by maintaining facilities that support operational excellence and employee well-being.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Five (5) years of prior experience in building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC maintenance.

• Three (3) years of supervisor experience required. A valid driver’s license is required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

SUPERVISE: Maintenance Technicians and Trades on 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work any shift as needed as well as be on call for Emergency repairs.

• Assist in oversight of all aspects of the facilities maintenance department.

• Responsible for supervising general maintenance and trades needs for all shifts.

• Assist in ensuring compliance and oversight of FA, Sprinkler, Elevators, and exhaust hood services.

• Assist with evaluating maintenance personnel.

• Responsible for making recommendations for training, evaluating, correcting, and scheduling of staff.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and OSHA regulations.

• Promotes a safe work environment by complying with Saratoga Casino Hotel policies and procedures.

• All other duties as assigned.

• Promotes outstanding customer relations.
