Medical Assistant/22/HCD021

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a temporary assignment with one of our premier healthcare clients in Mission Hills, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Medical Assistant to provide clinical support in a fast-paced outpatient healthcare environment while delivering high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, experience working directly with patients and providers, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy medical office setting. Epic EMR experience and bilingual Spanish skills are highly preferred.

Assignment Details

• Location: Mission Hills, CA 91345

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST

• Employment Type: Temporary contract assignment (approximately 6 months)

• Pay Rate: $ 24.34/hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits.

• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and clinical information.

• Administer injections under provider direction.

• Perform blood draws and specimen collection.

• Accurately document patient information and clinical activities in the EMR system.

• Assist providers with patient examinations and clinical procedures.

• Manage provider tasks and follow-up requests.

• Answer patient calls and assist with patient inquiries.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment.

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, providers, and staff.

Required Qualifications

• Current Medical Assistant certification.

• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.

• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.

• Experience with patient care, clinical documentation, and medical office workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic EMR experience.

• Bilingual Spanish/English communication skills.

• Strong patient communication and customer service skills.

• Experience working in a busy outpatient or primary care setting.
