HOSPITALIST - Per Diem

The campus is comprised of a 296-bed not-for-profit community hospital; a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation care center; and a 60,000 square foot medical office building. Job Details

Hospitalist Responsibilities:

  • Provides and manages the care of acutely ill hospitalized patients alongside an excellent ancillary staff with a Rapid Response Team

  • Works in a collegial and professional environment in a 7 day Block schedule

  • Provides full or partial services to private attending physicians who elect to utilize the Hospitalist Services

  • Attends monthly Hospitalist Meetings

  • Involved in quality as well as Patient Experience committees

  • Works in a team environment

  • Provides high quality care

  • Manages an average patient caseload of 15-17 patients

  • Able to adapt and be flexible to new CMS regulations

Hospitalist Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine

  • ACLS/BLS Certified

  • Trained in Family Practice or Internal Medicine

  • Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine/Family Practice

Salary Range

Starting from USD $165.00/Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
