Full job description

Are you looking for a clinical role that offers true autonomy and a schedule built around your life? Adecco is seeking Board-Certified Nurse Practitioners for Independent Contractor (IC) positions within Seneca County .

This role is ideal for practitioners who value community health and are looking to manage their own caseload with the support of emerging telehealth technology.

Compensation & Logistics

  • Pay Rate: Anticipated wage between $90.00 – $95.00 per hour . Note: Actual hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

  • Total Flexibility: Create and manage your own schedule (Part-time available).

  • Work Where You Live: Appointments are based on proximity to your home; you self-assign your territory within the county (e.g., Lowville, Croghan, Lyons Falls).

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Validation: Review Community Health Assessments (NYS Uniform Assessment Tool) to assist physicians in finalizing medical orders.

  • Patient Assessment: Conduct follow-up evaluations via telehealth or face-to-face visits to determine long-term care needs for adult and geriatric populations.

  • Quality Advocacy: Utilize clinical expertise to validate assessment outcomes, identify gaps in care, and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Collaboration: Work alongside community groups and project teams to improve health outcomes and quality assurance initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

  • Certification: Current NY State Board Certification.

  • Clinical Background: Training in Internal Medicine, Adult Health, Community Health, or Family Practice.

  • Experience: Proven experience with adult/geriatric populations. Backgrounds in home care or working with individuals with physical/developmental disabilities are highly preferred.

  • Tech-Savvy: Ability to navigate new technology and perform high-quality telehealth assessments.

  • Logistics: Must be able to travel within Lewis County for home-based visits.

  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and work effectively with diverse community groups.

  • In-depth knowledge of NYS long-term care services and programs.

Pay Details: $90.00 to $95.00 per hour
