Position Summary: The Product Director determines and oversees delivery of the strategy and roadmap for their products to achieve customer and end-user outcomes, as well as Atlas's business and financial objectives. The product director is effectively the "voice of the customer/end-user in the product." They effectively integrate, motivate and build relationships with and between team members, key stakeholders, customers, executives, and other individuals or organizations involved with the end-to-end product life cycle.

Major Job Accountabilities:

Develop and implement a clear, aligned product strategy and roadmap

Work with stakeholders to develop a prioritised backlog based on business value

Appropriately prioritise maintenance and tech debt activities with new features to ensure a sustainable product

Accountable for a secure, reliable and performant product that delivers value for Atlas

Develop and implement product success metrics and manage team to them

Senior stakeholder management including customers and vendors

Financially literate and can manage a P&L if required

Support Application Development Chapter Lead in implementing an engineering culture

Support Portfolio Senior Director in implementing an adaptive human centric system of work

Accountable for a complex cross functional product/service ecosystem

Qualifications and Experience:

Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum 7+ years of product management experience with 3+ years with full accountability of a complex enterprise level programme, portfolio or product

Minimum 15+ years of experience as a business analyst, project manager, scrum master or product manager

Minimum 5+ years experience in an agile delivery culture

Experience with TRAX or similar aviation maintenance and engineering systems (MRO platforms) strongly preferred

Experience managing ERPs or Enterprise Platforms as a product an advantage

Experience delivering applications within an automated CI/CD SDLC

Airline or logistics experience an advantage but not essential

Skills

Experienced influencer and story teller with excellent Oral/Written communication skills

Highly skilled Workshop facilitation in highly complex and political enterprise level environments

Flexibility to adapt to a fast paced work environment

Critical thinking skills

Self-motivated

Team player

Able to build a high performing team culture

Able to coach more junior team members and senior stakeholders

Special demands:

The role will require frequent (~monthly) domestic travel and occasional (annually) international travel

Competitive compensation will be offered based on a variety of factors, including a candidate's experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal equity and other factors. In addition, a range of benefits to include medical, dental and vision insurance, employee assistance program, as well as generous paid time off, and 401K contributions are offered as a part of the total compensation package.

Pay Range

$155,000—$218,000 USD
