Full job description

Backed by leading Silicon Valley investors, Peregrine helps public safety organizations, state and local and governments, federal agencies , and private-sector institutions address society’s challenges with unprecedented speed and accuracy. Our AI-enabled platform turns siloed and disconnected data into operational intelligence — instantly surfacing mission-critical information to empower better, faster decisions that improve outcomes at every touchpoint. Today Peregrine supports hundreds of customers across 30+ states and two countries, serving more than 125 million people — and we’re amplifying our impact as we expand into the enterprise and internationally.

Role As a Web Developer at Peregrine, you'll own the build, evolution, and maintenance of Peregrine's marketing web properties, including peregrine.io . You'll implement front-end solutions, integrate marketing technologies, and deliver a high-performance experience for visitors and internal GTM teams alike. Working closely with marketing, design, and communications, you'll shape Peregrine's web presence — supporting personalized web experiences and scaled content production workflows.

What you’ll do

  • Own and maintain Peregrine’s Sanity instance, including all pages, components, and content management system.

  • Configure and optimize HubSpot, GTA and related platforms to enhance data tracking, lead generation, and segmented audience engagement.

  • Ensure instantaneous load times, implement SEO/AEO/GEO best practices, and maintain high performance across browsers and devices.

  • Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix bugs, ensuring a seamless, delightful experience.

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and communication to conceptualize and deliver engaging, personalized web experiences that tie directly to Peregrine’s growth goals.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to identify opportunities to enhance website capabilities while sharing insights with the broader team.

About you

  • You care about web experiences that actually work: fast, usable, and well-built.

  • You write clean, maintainable code and reach for tools that sharpen your output.

  • You think in systems — web personalization, analytics, content delivery — with an eye on engagement and conversion.

  • You stay current with industry trends and bring what's relevant back to the team.

What we look for

  • Proficiency with front-end technologies such as Sanity, TypeScript, Vercel, Rive, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, as well as some familiarity with marketing automation tools and tracking technologies.

  • Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first development practices.

  • Experience integrating and optimizing marketing tools such as Hubspot, GTA, and web personalization tools.

  • Experience with collaborative workflows and version control systems such as Git.

  • Demonstrated success in testing, debugging, and optimizing website performance.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a solid grasp of SEO best practices and accessibility standards.

  • Readiness to work cross-functionally with marketing, design, and product teams to optimize our website.

  • We've learned that people hesitate to apply without quantifiable years of experience. However, what’s most important to us is the kind of experiences you’ve had and the skills you’ve developed along the way. Have well over five years of experience? That's great! Have fewer than five years but feel you meet the other requirements? That's okay, too! Please apply.
