Full job description
Responsibilities:

Communicate with carriers regarding loading times and preloading of their trailers.

Review orders for potential timing issues or shortages.

Prepare and assemble documentation for orders for the warehouse and loading crews. Highlight special instructions.

Assign and record trailer seals and temperature recorders for orders that require them.

Notify Commodity Sales and Scheduling of shortage to orders.
-
Screen orders for accuracy, confirm and print them.
-
Prepare and distribute USDA and other documents for export orders. Maintain appropriate records to confirm that all products planned for export meet Avian Influenza and salmonella test requirements. Screen export documents for accuracy and compliance.

Review shipment weights, delivery sequence, and refrigeration unit settings with drivers before releasing paperwork.

Maintain logs of preloaded trailers, with release information and driver signatures. Insure that they are completed and available for Security or Refrigeration employees for after hours or weekend departures by carriers.

Prepare "Refrigerated Dropped Trailer' logs with required temperature settings for use by Refrigeration employees in monitoring loaded dropped trailers.

Review and confirm accuracy of all department HACCP logs and paperwork.

Communicate in transit orders to order JOTS facilities.
Minimum Qualifications:

Excellent attendance
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
At least 1 year experience in data entry and other computer functions

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-
Excellent math skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Distribution position
