Full job description

Position OverviewThe Registered Nurse at Home Care is responsible for providing skilled nursing services and patient education in the home care setting. The Registered Nurse will conduct the initial assessment visit in the home to determine whether the patient is appropriate for admission to the Agency and will develop and implement the patient’s plan of care in accordance with physician orders.

Compensation Range:

$33.57 - $51.39 per hour, depending on experience


Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

  • Graduate of an approved RN program OR a non-approved program supplemented by content equal to an approved program.

  • Two years' experience as a Registered Professional Nurse required OR equivalent of education and experience.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing

  • Med/Surg/Certified home care experience.

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

  • License and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.

  • CPR Certification required upon hire.
