Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Phlebotomists to support the Sonora Outpatient Clinic located at 13663 Mono Way, Sonora, CA 95370. The schedule is typically Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm, no weekends or holidays. If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers.

Responsibilities

Verifying patient identity using two identifiers
-
Performing venipunctures and collecting properly labeled specimens

Processing specimens for testing or shipment

Performing waived and/or non-waived testing

Reviewing clinician orders in the VA system

Maintaining professional, compassionate interactions with patients and staff

Promoting a cooperative work environment
Qualifications
-
Must hold a current California Certified Phlebotomy Technician certificate
-
Minimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience performing venipunctures in a clinic or hospital setting
-
Proof of current (within 1 year) tuberculosis (PPD) testing, rubella testing, and immunizations
-
No health or physical restrictions that interfere with job duties

Must comply with OSHA bloodborne pathogen standards and CDC/HICPAC infection control guidelines

Pay Range: $27.12- $32.05 hourly
All candidates must be able to:

Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift

Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist

Lift up to 20 lbs

Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance

Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
