Successful candidates bring High School Diploma Or GED and Microsoft Office. Preferred (not required): Build Spreadsheets, Detail Oriented, Manage Time Appropriately, and Strong Analytical Skills.

Your role at BHSN:
You will assist the accounting department as an Accounts Receivable and Credentialing Specialist at BHSN . This position works within accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing and other financial functions.
Your Schedule: Part time, Flexible, Monday - Friday 20-29 hours between the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm

What your day might look like:

Provide support to the Revenue Cycle Department by coordinating initial applications and renewal credential applications for licensed providers with; Medicaid, Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care Companies, Commercial Insurance, and CAQH applications.

Credentialing new sites with various payors: including adding new sites to existing contracts

Ensure all providers, in coordination with providers, are properly registered with all payors to provide services.

Assist in streamlining the accounts receivable /credentialing process by identifying areas for performance improvement

Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared; as Directed by the Director of Revenue Cycle
Your skills and qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required

Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred

Highly Detail Oriented and ability to manage time appropriately

Strong analytical skills

Experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to independently build spreadsheets for tracking purposes
