Description

A Residential Habilitation Provider provides supports specifically tailored to each individual within the program and may include budgeting finances, grocery shopping, attending medical appointments, and cleaning.

Saugerties Supported Apartments include nine apartments located throughout the town of Saugerties. Currently, there are five gentlemen and four ladies who reside in these apartments and are all very independent, with a wide range of interests. The Res Hab Provider will support them in furthering their independence in maintaining their apartments and daily routines.

The Res Hab Provider will be required to have a reliable vehicle and use their own car. Mileage will be reimbursed. The person in this position will also be trained to be medication certifiable, assist with medical appointments and ensure documentation is processed accurately and timely.

Employees who work for Supported Apartments should be flexible and self-motivated. Time management skills are definitely important in this position which requires a great deal of independence.

HOURS: On-Call/as needed

STARTING SALARY: $ 18.26 to $ 20.09 per hour, with additional shift differentials as applicable

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or GED is required
Acceptable NYS Driver's License and reliable vehicle
Computer skills
