Per Diem Residence LPN
Named by The Boston Globe as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the last four years, our community based, mission-driven hospice and palliative care organization seeks a Per Diem Residence LPN to join its expanding Residence team. Our Hospice Residence is located in Wayland and was reopened in Fall 2022. This is an exciting opportunity for LPNs interested in providing end-of-life care at a new 10-bed hospice facility. Shifts are flexible.
Job Responsibilities:
This position provides direct patient care, including on-going assessment, pain management. and symptom control in line with the plan of care established for the patient. The Shift Nurse notifies the Nursing Care Coordinator of any significant change in the patient’s condition or any changes necessitating physician notification and documents all care provided, including clinical observations and interventions.
Schedule and Weekly Hours:
The purpose of this position is to cover open shifts when our regular staff are out on leave or vacation. There is not a specific shift to cover.
Education, Skills and Experience:

Current Massachusetts LPN License in good standing.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in community health, oncology nursing, or a related field preferred.

Comfort working independently in a one-on-one setting with patients.

Pay Range: $34-$41/hourly: This number reflects an average starting range for this position. Individual pay is determined through a variety of factors including experience, education, certifications, and skills and can exceed the range.
