The Adel DeSoto Minburn Community School District is seeking certified substitutes interested in substituting for the 2026-27 school year. We have 5 buildings where you may choose to substitute:

Adel Elementary (Preschool - 1st Grade)

Meadow View Elementary (2nd - 4th Grade)

DeSoto Intermediate (5th - 6th Grade)

Middle School (7th - 8th Grade)

High School (9th - 12th Grade)
Essential Functions
-
Delivers elementary school curriculum consistent with school district goals and objectives

Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning

This position reports to the building principal or designee at the location to which they are assigned
Requirements

Associates degree or 60 semester hours through a college or university (must provide official transcript)

Current Iowa License (teaching license, substitute license, or substitute authorization license)
