Full job description

The Center for Instruction, Technology & Innovation is currently hiring Registered Nurse substitutes for the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates must possess a valid Registered Professional Nurse license issued by New York State. Interested candidates must complete an application and attach copies of their current CPR/AED card and RN certificate.

Job Qualifications

Current CPR/ AED training
Current RN certificate
Able to follow District procedures and guidelines for health care and medications
Able to follow doctor's orders for student medications
Excellent communication and telephone skills
Strong work ethic
Confidentiality
Able to interact with students, parents, and staff
School experience is preferred but not required
Fingerprinting through the New York State Education Department is a requirement for working in the school district.
