Full job description

Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. seeks an Architecture Senior Advisor for the Bloomfield, CT location to design and architect scalable and secure technology solutions aligned with business requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical planning and solution design phases, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate emerging technologies and integrate them into existing systems where appropriate.

  • Provide technical leadership throughout the development lifecycle, including code reviews, performance optimization, and deployment strategies.

  • Ensure solutions are compliant with regulatory and security standards.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of architectural practices.

  • Hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in any software development and systems architecture role.

  • Will accept a Master’s degree and 3 years of experience.

  • Must have experience with: managing software development cycles and requirements gathering through deployment;

  • Working between cross-functional product, architecture, and infrastructure teams;

  • Coordinating with technology teams to enable interoperability;

  • Designing and implementing microservices for scalable and modular systems;

  • Developing backend services and integration layers using Python, C#, Node.js, and Java;

  • Building and managing secure RESTful APIs for data interoperability between systems;

  • Utilizing cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS and Azure for software deployments;

  • Implementing DevOps and CI/CD Pipelines;

  • Applying software architecture principles and design patterns to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance;

  • Implementing secure authentication and authorization frameworks using OAuth, SAML, and Active Directory; developing system integrations;

  • Agile software delivery;

  • Applying version control and collaboration tools for enterprise development;

  • Architecture reviews; providing technical guidance and architectural recommendations to development teams; and

  • Designing and implementing AI-based solutions and workflows.

Salary Range: $147,430-$231,000/year

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 138,600 - 231,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
