JOB SUMMARY:

Pratt Munson College of Art & Design is actively seeking dynamic and creative individuals to join our adjunct faculty for both studio and academic roles. We are accepting applications on a rolling basis for consideration in upcoming semesters.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Area of Expertise, MFA for Studio Areas

  • Practicing artist or designer (studio classes only)

  • Previous teaching experience is required

  • Evidence of the ability to teach and collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds

COMPUTER MACHINE & EQUIPMENT SKILLS:

Computer literacy in database management, Microsoft and Google software expertise, the ability to learn specialized software related to education (Canvas), and the ability to operate general office equipment.

Compensation: $3,500-$4,000 per class per semester

Incomplete submissions will not be accepted/reviewed

The final candidate will be required to complete a post-offer, pre-employment background check.
